Dialpad is great, but with Australia’s terrible internet it’s next to useless..

We paid to trial it and we didn’t have even one uninterrupted phone call!! We tried on several types of internet connections bar NBN.. So unless you have NBN, and you’re not going to use Dialpad on your mobile with 4G, I wouldn’t waste your time. As every call we made, the person on the other line asked at least twice “Are you still there? Sorry you’re breaking up!”

Hopefully something changes fast with internet in this country.

Thanks for the comment John – Dialpad (like any internet based phone system) is always going to be dependent on your internet connection.

I personally have used Dialpad on a 4g connection every day for the past 18mths and have always had great quality as long as I’m in a good service area.

For an office though, an ADSL connection is not going to be a great experience. You’ll want a dedicated line (Ethernet, Fibre or NBN) to be able to run Dialpad effectively.

PS – we have wireless hybrid systems that we’re currently testing with Dialpad for customers that are stuck on DSL so you can use Dialpad before you have Fibre available. Stay tuned for those
