Krystal’s passion stems from her own experience starting out in business at the age of 17, armed with nothing but a compulsive vision to do meaningful work and spare change spent on business books. After graduating with a double Degree in Law and Business (majoring in Advertising and Promotions Management) from the University of Technology Sydney, Krystal took a 180 degree turn, giving up a predetermined career in law to pursue what she loves most – writing, speaking, creating things from scratch and weaving them into a reality.
Entertaining and engaging content is Krystal’s rule, practical advice her purpose. When she isn’t blogging, creating YouTube videos or interviewing awesome folk, Krystal enjoys watching back-to-back episodes of Dragon’s Den and gets Sharpie-happy conceptualizing current and future projects.
Felipe Flores – Clear Blue Water
10 years ago Felipe came for one summer in Australia. He had no English, no education and no money.
Since then, he’s got 3 degrees, a black belt in karate and started a multi-million dollar business. Felipe has worked with hundreds of SMEs across the country, multiple state governments and some of Australia’s largest companies such as IBM, Telstra, NAB and Foxtel.
His business is focused on bringing the benefits of analytics and big data to SMEs. They have created 3 world-first products for the SME, Retail and Mining industries using their technology; which is designed and built in Australia.
Felipe is an accomplished consultant, advisor, mentor and business leader. His company, called Clear Blue Water, has users in over 67 countries and this year it was chosen within Australia’s Top 50 Startups by smartcompany.com.au.
