Behind the scenes, we're now in the seventh week of our Remote Work Playbook 8-week exclusive online course.

This week's training was Remote Team Task Management with Asana to help your team stay in sync, hit deadlines, and meet your goals. We also shared effective ways of using Asana with your team and its seamless integration with other apps.

Some of the highlight Asana features in the training were:

  • Starting your account – Logging in using your business email address that allows you to create multiple teams for up to 15 people per team using the free plan.
  • My tasks – This view lists all the tasks that are assigned to you in a given organization or workspace. By default, the tasks in your My Tasks are organized into 4 priority sections: Recently assigned, Today, Upcoming, and Later.
  • Inbox feed – This is your notification center for Asana. Your Inbox displays updates on all projects you’re a member of and tasks that you follow or are assigned within an organization.
  • Projects – Collection of tasks that are relevant to a number of people. Asana helps you manage all of these in one place. You can use them to track large goals, routine workflows, complex processes, manage deadlines, or even organize your ideas.

Implementing shared task management will help you make sure that things get done without you having to micromanage everyone. It means that multiple people can work together and improve the team's collaboration.

Here's our live broadcast discussing why Asana is the right choice for us:
