In this video, I’m sharing with you my top 3 favourite business books and the lessons I learned in leadership and management.

Here’s a rundown of my top 3 favorite books:

#1 Scaling Up

This is a major revision of the book Mastering the Rockefeller Habits that was released over a decade ago. It talks about the different techniques in creating a business that would soon dominate the industry.

The key message of this book is to make sure that your team rally around your company’s vision. Business leaders should not feel and think they are doing everything alone, but build a team that is engaged and moving in sync to create an impact, especially to your customers.

#2 One Minute Manager

This is a book that discusses the foundational level of leadership and management. The story revolves around the three techniques that an effective manager uses: one-minute goals, one-minute praisings, and one-minute reprimands.

While this book was written decades ago, it has helped lay a foundation – through its timeless principles – that made millions of people achieve a successful personal and professional lives.

#3 Flip the Switch

Grounded in the sciences of physiology and psychology, this book teaches us about maximising energy to boost your productivity and performance. Since we are all navigating the digital age, it offers practical advice when we need to flip the switch and slow down to achieve more.
