Position Type:

Contractor role with the potential for full-time employment in the future.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Google Workspace Subject Matter Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Google Workspace and its various tools, particularly in the context of small business usage. This individual will primarily be responsible for reviewing and validating the content within our YouTube videos, ensuring technical accuracy and relevance to our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and verify content within YouTube videos created by our IT business, focusing on Google Workspace-related topics.
  2. Identify inaccuracies or discrepancies in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Google Workspace and provide detailed feedback to the creative team.
  3. Proficiently address technical issues within Google Workspace, especially those commonly encountered by small businesses.
  4. Prepare concise breakdowns of video content to assist the creative team in crafting accurate and compelling titles, thumbnails, tags, and descriptions.
  5. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that video content is optimized for our target market and effectively communicates valuable insights related to Google Workspace.

Requirements:

  1. Extensive expertise in Google Workspace, including but not limited to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Meet.
  2. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify inaccuracies or technical errors within content.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide constructive feedback and collaborate effectively with team members.
  4. Proven experience in troubleshooting technical issues within Google Workspace, particularly in the context of small business operations.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote work environment.
  6. Prior experience in content creation, video production, or digital marketing is a plus.

Schedule:

  • 10 hours/ week
  • Day shift

Compensation:

$25 AUD – $35 AUD per hour
